Peer Review Process

The International Journal of Scientific Multidisciplinary Applications by following a structured peer review process, upholds the quality, originality and academic values of the research articles that are published. Each manuscript received for publication is given careful consideration before a final decision is made for publication.

Initial Manuscript Screening

Once submitted, the editorial staff makes a preliminary review of the manuscript to make sure that the manuscript:

  • Fits within the scope of the journal.
  • Meets the basic formatting and submission requirements.
  • Presents original and relevant research.
  • Follows the journal's publication and ethical guidelines.

Manuscripts that fail to fulfill minimal criteria may be returned to the author(s) for corrections.

Peer Review

Manuscripts which pass the initial screening are sent for peer review to qualified reviewers who have pertinent areas of expertise. Each manuscript is reviewed thoroughly, taking into consideration the following:

  • Originality and relevance of the research.
  • Clarity of the research objectives and methodology.
  • Quality and reliability of the findings.
  • Academic and practical contribution.
  • Overall presentation and structure of the manuscript.

Based on their evaluation the reviewers on the acceptance/revision/rejection decision.

Revision and Final Decision

Authors are provided with an opportunity for revisions if needed, submitting a revised version for consideration. The revised version can be further reviewed as needed.

Final publication is at the discretion of the editorial staff, where the reviewers' recommendations, quality of the revised manuscript and publication criteria of the journal are considered.

The primary aim of our peer review process is to foster quality research and to assist authors to make their research manuscripts more refined and polished without compromising on academic integrity of International Journal of Scientific Multidisciplinary Applications.
